Derek started touring the Northeast twelve yrs. ago as a solo artist including many gigs in NYC.  Previously he had played lead in many rock bands and toured with Grammy winning artist Joanne Shenandoah and Texas musician of the year Eric Hokkanen. Equally adept at electric or acoustic guitar he enjoys writing music and his blog.
